　As everyone knows,English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.

　What is friendship? It is to relate with somebody without need for money or objective. It is to need emotion and over wealth is friendship , no matter what their background , age , *** or personality.

　Friendship can be pure. We hear , nowdays, however, how one can be cheated by friends. Many people get along with someone because they have a lot of money. It is doultful that is real friendship.

　Having friends, one can be find happiness. If you are in trouble your friends will help you through or at least comfort you. When you are happy , they share it with you. They are also there for you to chat with at any time.

　It is a wonderful feeling, as the proverb says" to love each other is easy but to make frieds is hard", So, it is crutial that we should get along with our friends. In my opinon ,it is a shame to deceive your friends . The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship.

　As a student, we have studied for many years. During there years, we study Chinese, English, science and so on. In this period, with the improvement of our knowledge, we not only read the books in class but also read extracurricular after school. In my opinion Dream of the red chamber is the best book I have read. In this book, the great author Cao xueqin his view about love. He had firmly faith in what is the true love and try to tell us that there are different kinds of love, only one kind which should be considered as True Love.

　In a dream, and under mythical circumstances, the main character of the novel, Jia baoyu, met the Fairy Disenchantment in the Land of Illusions. She showed him three "registers" each containing the names and "the happenings in life" of 12 girls in his clan. Each girl represents a kind of love.

　From the stories which are unfolding in the novel, the reader should know the characteristics of the different kinds of love, and should be able to distinguish True Love from the other kinds.

　True love is acceptance, committal, mutual and without any post conditions. The love between Lin daiyu and Jia baoyu is considered to be True Love. Just saying or hearing I love you is not good enough because talk is cheap. Action in mutual commitment is essential, as we can see in the novel.

　We always have dreams. What’s ours dream? Do you know what you exactly want? And do you work hard for it. In this book, you can taste the feeling of the author about his strong will. In his words, you can find the charm of Chinese. It is not a book, but a precious deposits. You can get a lot from it. But unfortunately, the novel was never "completed" to such a state. On the other hand, maybe, it is another kind of beauty of the book. If you have not read this book yet, just go and read it. You will love it.

First， we have to catch the opportunities and face the challenges. China has successfully entered the World Trade Organization， Beijing has won the bid for the 2008 Olympic Games… If we want to be successful， we have to seize these opportunities. SARS and AIDS， environmental pollution， growing population… We have no choice but to solve these problems with our own hands. Thus， catching the opportunities and trying our best to cope with the difficulties is necessary for us to succeed in the 21st century.

Secondly， we have to learn to cooperate and compete. Last year， when SARS was spreading rapidly in China， scientists all over the world cooperated with each other and prevented the disease from spreading in a short period of time. At the same time， they were also competing against each other to see who could conquer the disease first. By cooperating and competing， the world develops day by day. Therefore， we， the younger generation， must know how to cooperate and compete.

Ladies and gentlemen， we are standing at the outset of a new century， we are at the gate of a new era. Looking back， the 20th century is a century of great developments and remarkable changes. Looking forward， the 21st century is a century full of opportunities， challenges， cooperation and competition. I believe， if we can seize the opportunities， face the challenges， cooperate and compete， success in the 21st century belongs to him， to you and to me.
